How to End the Always Striving to Arrive Success Method of Business

First off let me identify the “Always Striving to Arrive Success Method of Business”

It is a method by which an individual endevours to accomplish a given goal. When the individual arrives, that is the goal is met, the individual finds frustration because it either is, “not just right” or thoughts like, “my goal would really be a success if.

What a never ending pain and torture to put yourself in. Most people who have this success method end up to be very discouraged, caught in a vicious cycle of always striving but the reality, NEVER arriving!

It is not that you have not arrived, met your given goal, it is that through the power of your thinking you have convinced yourself to keep striving in hopes to some day arrive.

Here are some possible solutions for ending the “Always Striving to Arrive Success Method”

1. Set your given goal.
2. Strive toward your goal.
3. Reward yourself immediately.

Sounds simple enough? It really is. The hardest part is conditioning your mind to do so but even that can be remedied with some conditioning.

Consider setting a goal by which you work on a project, I am not saying you accomplished it but rather work on it for a set period of time.

Set a timer, if you would like a timer for your computer I recommend this cool timer. Once your timer is set for, let’s say, 20 minutes, begin. Work diligently. Keep in mind it is about working on the given goal for a set amount of time.

Once the time goes off hit the save button, if it is something you are working on the computer, or close your notebook, or walk away, do not give it a second look and immediately do something rewarding.

Do this consistently every time you work on any aspects of that or any other given project. In time your mind will begin to associate minimal work accomplishments with a reward. Yes, they are accomplishments and you did it!

Now when you work on point number two: Strive toward your goal it really will be more associated with pleasure toward your goal.

Once again keep the following in mind:

1. Set your given goal
2. Strive with pleasure toward your goal
3. Reward your accomplishments immediately
