I have found that often times I embark on more task than I know what to do with. The need to organize, setting time schedules and goals are essential for me.
From caring for my 8th month old to reasoning with a teen…Hey it can happen, sooner or later what I am telling them will click. If they are anything like me it may be in 20 some years but better late than never.
Really, what is a multi-task mom to do?
The answer though it may seem simple can be paramount…
Tackle the task.
Ask yourself at the start of your day, “What is the number one accomplishment I desire to do today?”
And do it.
Granted you may have other responsibilities that must be taken care of but every moment you can, outside of those responsibilities, be sure to focus on what you want to accomplish.
It may also help if you prepare yourself at the start of a week and decide which day you will focus on what.
Keep in mind the temptation may be there to venture off…after all we are gifted at being multi-task moms but if at the end of the day you sense your own disappointment then re-evaluate your methods.
Now, being a multi-task mom does have its advantages provided that what you are adding “to do” is in relation to accomplishing your overall goal.
I am impressed and amazed at moms with their abilities to do so much. I have so much yet to learn and thought I would share this mom tidbit.
It is great to be a mom! From changing diapers to changing the world one kid at a time!
